Introducing Iain Sinclair at the Write Idea Festival 13 November, Idea Store, Whitechapel
‘Iain Sinclair is a compulsive London walker who files reports, from time to time, as books, films or talks. For his recent project, published by Hamish Hamilton as ‘London Overground’, he tramped the orbital circuit of the Ginger Line, in company with the filmmaker Andrew Kötting, in a single day. And in the process discovered much that was new about the city of his imagination.
Iain Sinclair will be introduced by freelance writer, author and cultural commentator Travis Elborough, who is currently the Chisenhale Gallery Victoria Park Residency artist for 2014-15.’
